Kooksoondang Gochang Myeongju Co., Ltd. uses only domestic rice and bokbunja as raw materials. We are producing premium traditional liquor. In 2004, the company started work to develop products and invest in facilities with 400 bokbunja farmers of the Simwon Seaside Reproduction Plantation Association for one year.
In July 2007, 435 Bokbunja farmers participated as shareholders and established Kooksoondangochangmyeong Co., Ltd. It is an agricultural corporation, led by Bokbunja farmers in Gochang-gun, and is helping domestic farmers increase their income and the rural economy. The differentiated premium liquor made from the first-class harvest of Gochang-gun, which has excellent sugar content and pulp, strengthens the competitiveness of the bokbunja liquor market in Korea. It's a traditional liquor factory with the ability to be active in the global market.
